From class clown to 6-figure agency owner.

After my apprenticeship as a warehouse logistics specialist (yes, years of unloading trucks) I ended up in the sales team of a Dortmund social-media agency. Within a few months I was topping the revenue board and coaching the team. It didn't come naturally — scripts, books, YouTube, every evening after work with colleagues around my kitchen table. I studied sales.

In Berlin afterwards came formative years at Agicap, Elopage and smava. Always hybrid: between sales and the systems that fed it. I loved it when good data turned into new revenue.

That's how the thought hit me: if it already worked at 4 companies — why not go independent and run it for several companies at once?

  1. 2022
    Going independent
    I started with CRM consulting. Day and night I worked on HubSpot, Close, Salesforce, Pipedrive and others, supporting clients across all kinds of industries. 15-hour days were the norm and I got to look deep into around 20 companies — those learnings became my capital.
  2. 2023
    Moved abroad, focused on lead gen
    It turned out I got particularly strong results with sales-driven founders of recruiting agencies. So I rocked the digital-nomad lifestyle on Bali for a while and built lead-acquisition systems along the way. Revenue kept climbing and I learned how to feed those nice CRM systems sustainably with triple-A leads.
  3. 2024
    Scaling in Dubai
    By then I had officially settled in Dubai and kept doing nothing else but: optimize CRM (Close had become my favorite) and feed it with leads. First client relationships turned into friendships and the "is this role still open?" angle was scaled so hard that every cookie-cutter agency tried to copy it.
  4. 2025
    Top 1% sender
    With up to 2k positive replies per month overall, we made it into Smartlead's elite: the top 1% senders. But the market shifted: every random guy is launching a lead-gen agency now and spamming emails until they fall over. I knew we had to change something. The challenge is different now: you need the best data, first.
  5. 2026
    Hiring Intelligence was born
    I'd been toying with the idea of generating real-time leads for a while. In Cape Town it happened. Built a Frankenstein solution with Clay, Make, Apify and other tools and tested it with one client: boom! Cold-call appointment rate tripled. I knew: this will be the first software I build myself. And it's the perfect addition to the trio: the best leads first, the best sales CRM, and the sharpest copy. I'm ready for growth. And you?
